WANTED : Deaf Sign Language Instructors in Bahasa Isyarat Malaysia (BIM)

The Mission is looking for two (2) Deaf Sign Language Instructors.

Criteria (must have requirements)

  1. Certificate in BIM, and Certificate in teaching BIM, with minimum 3 years activeexperience in teaching BIM, and necessary experience in planning curriculum and modules for sign language courses; Good written skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia, sound knowledge of BIM and ASL grammar; updated on Deaf issues in Malaysia.
  2. Possess great working attitude, pleasant personality, show maturity, enthusiasm and demonstrate a passion for teaching this language; must be committed.
  3. Computer literate; easily contactable via email, sms, and fax; possess own transport.

The right candidates will work closely with the Directors of the Mission to formulate a Sign Language Course curriculum and modules for its sign language courses.
