Last month, we carried our a Deaf Art promotion at the IOI Mall, Puchong. Here are some scenes from that event.

 Jeffrey Gilbert teaching the signed alphabets to this child. The child is so engrossed and focussed on Jeffrey’s finger spelling. It took just 10 mins with Jeffrey, and this child was seeing finger spelling away to his dad and his grandmother.

Cathy a new Deaf helper  to the sales team, teaching this young man how to fingerspell his name.

We thank the IOI Management for giving us the opportunity to carry out the Deaf Art promotion. The mall is indeed packed with scores of people on a weekend. But our takeaway from that weekend was that this may be a place we will want to revisit to create Deaf Awareness.
