May 2, 2008 - Featuring Deaf helper Sathia

02

May

dsc01705.jpg dsc01664.jpg Meet Sathiakumaran (left) posing for the camera with Deaf Supervisor Carol Lau Hee Phin. Like Joey, Sathia too was unemployed for 3 years. We engaged him to assist at the recent April Deaf Art sale. Sathia is commended for his perseverance, and sharp focus, and the eagerness to learn new things. Shy as he was, he took this short part time job very seriously. The Mission has helped him to secure a permanent job and his new employer who has offered him a data entry possible is very happy with Sathia’s performance. Sathia thanks the Mission for the opportunity to work for the Mission, and for new beginnings through the Mission. Sathia, as we did Joey, we wish you a very happy 2008 and success in your new career. We would be very delighted to have Sathia at our future Deaf Art events.
